Manna Organics Review and Giveaway!

*****CONTEST CLOSED****

Have you ever heard of Manna Organics??   Manna Organics is a family owned and operated bakery in the Chicagoland area that makes Manna Bread by hand in small batches.

What is Manna bread? It is a cake-like, sprouted breadyeast free breadorganic bread, free of salt, no oils, no sweeteners, no leavening agents. Manna is moist and delicious, high in protein and fiber.

In ancient Biblical times, Manna was sent from heaven to the Israelites which sustained them as they wandered in the wilderness for 40 years.

Today, these sprouted grains are still being made using the old biblical method of creating cake-like bread that provides the highest and healthiest nutrients, vitamins, protein and fiber.

Manna Organics sent me 4 loaves to sample:

Fig, Fennel, and FlaxINGREDIENTS: Sprouted organic wheat kernels, filtered water, organic black mission figs, organic flax seeds, organic fennel seeds, organic poppy seeds, organic pumpkin seeds, organic sunflower seeds, organic sesame seeds

Cinnamon DateINGREDIENTS: Sprouted organic wheat kernels, filtered water, organic dates, organic cinnamon, organic oatmeal.

Multigrain– INGREDIENTS: Sprouted organic wheat kernels, filtered water, organic brown rice, organic barley, organic millet, organic flax seed, organic rye kernels, organic soy beans, organic rolled oats, organic oat bran, organic cornmeal.

Sunny SourdoughINGREDIENTS: Filtered water, organic whole rye flour, organic whole wheat flour, organic sunflower seeds, organic rolled oats, sea salt, organic caraway seeds, organic fennel seed, organic coriander seed.

As soon as the package came my kids and I opened the Multigrain bread- I toasted it just a bit to warm it up and we spread coconut oil on it.  It was delicious!!  My daughter and I were fighting over who would get the next piece!!  It is almost cake like, doughy, and super moist.  It was heavenly!

The next day I warmed up the fig, fennel, flax loaf in the oven and served it on a wooden tray with vegan butter.  It looked like we were at a fancy restaurant with homemade bread!  We sliced it and devoured the loaf-it was super moist like the first loaf.  The bread almost has a hint of sweet to it which tastes amazing!

Look at all the seeds on top!!  This creates such an amazing texture with the chewiness of the bread!!!

The Cinnamon Date we had for breakfast one morning.  I took some vegan butter and mixed it with cinnamon and we spread that on the loaf, it was sweet and doughy!  It almost felt dessert like!

The sourdough loaf makes for great toast or for a cucumber, lettuce, tomato, avocado sandwich!
