Do you like chocolate??

I would have to say it is a weakness for me… and I love a good quality chocolate…

so I was super excited to hear about a company called

Earth Source Organics-when I found their website this is what it said….

Earth Source Organics invites you to explore the taste delights of our Righteously Raw Chocolate Bars, which, even the discerning taste buds of a five year old considers candy. Our Righteously Raw Chocolate bars are made of raw, organic, healthful ingredients and without refined sugars or genetically modified organisms (GMOs). From the raw, unheated, unprocessed and unadulterated cacao (chocolate) to the varied and exotic fruits, berries, and other certified organic ingredients that fill them. A bite of one of our raw chocolate bars will assure you that you’re in for a unique and palate-pleasing taste treat.

Each truffle is produced in our nut-free facility, guaranteed to be free of corn and soy, and fully certified organic, vegan, gluten-free and kosher. At Earth Source Organics, quality is about more than just certifications or stamps of approval; it’s about the dream of our founder and our entire staff’s dedication to help everyone on the planet by promoting vibrant health through exceptional foods.

So friends, welcome to the wondrous world of Righteously Raw chocolate.

I was so excited to receive a package from EarthSource Organics!!

It included 5 Righteously Raw Chocolate Bars!

They were packaged so nicely and I wanted to rip open each bar and taste all of them at once, but I refrained myself from turning into a crazy chocolate lady!

My first reaction to most foods is to look through the ingredients.  It has become normal for me to see what ingredients a product contains in any food that I have not made myself.  I do it to protect my son from consuming anything that he shouldn’t be consuming because of his food allergies.

Normally, my son cannot have chocolate….especially milk chocolate…I have found 2 sources of non dairy chocolate that he can enjoy, but when I read through the ingredient list in all 5 of the bars I saw that they were all dairy free!!!!!

I was so happy to find out that they were also gluten free, nut free, dairy free, soy free, preservative free and chemical free!!!

So, what kind of ingredients are in these bars??

Cacao butter, cacao powder, coconut oil, vanilla bean, agave nectar, and

superfoods such as Maca root, Goji berries, and Acai berries!!!

There are 5 flavors:

and their newest bar

with tastes beginning with sumptuous dark raspberry and delicious sweet beet and

ending on notes of rich chocolate and fragrant rose.

We decided to try the caramel bar first!!!

It was a 2 thumbs up!!!!

My husband and I also indulged in the caramel….MMMMMMMM……heavenly.

Over the next few days we shared and tasted all of the flavors.

They were all smooth, decadent, and had great melt in the mouth qualities!!!

These did not have a milk chocolate taste..I would compare them all to more of a dark chocolate flavor.

I would have to say our family favorite was the Rose Bar!!

It is actually a dark red colored chocolate and has crunchy little bits in it that gives it a nice texture!!  The flavor is sweet and creamy and tastes like raspberries…….

I also liked the caramel bar, however do not expect it to be the drizzly caramel that you would generally think of in a candy bar…the caramel is made with dates which have a very simialar taste to caramel.

These bars are not just a dessert, they actually have health benefits to eating them!!!!

Can it get any better than that???

Have you ever tried one of these delicious bars??  What flavor would you like to try??

  2. These look great. I have never seen them before. I bet your son loved them. The rose bar sounds great. I love chocolate. I just bought some cacao butter to try and make my own (eventually). The ingredient list on those are pretty great and pure. Yum I will keep my eye out for those.
