I am so excited about this new product!!!

First, I feel the need to say that when I review a product I really use it and try it out with my family-being a mom I want good, quality ingredients and great tasting products or products that make my life easier or that will add some benefit into my life or my families in some way!!

So, with that said……

a couple of months ago I received a package from Ascenta Health….

Ascenta is a manufacturer and distributor of high quality natural health products and an industry leader in omega-3 fatty acids. 

They sent me 2 different products to try:

NutraVege:

NutraVege is a vegetarian source of omega-3 beneficial for the maintenance of good health.  

NutraSea For Kids

NutraSea Kids is beneficial in the development of the brain, eyes and nerves in children and adolescents. It is also beneficial in the development and maintenance of healthy bones and teeth

These supplements both contain beneficial Omega 3′s, DHA and EPA’s which our bodies need to be healthy and function properly.  Most people do not understand the importance of receiving enough Omega 3′s and other nutrients.

Omega-3 (EPA & DHA) function in the body

- Promotes cardiovascular health
- Reduces inflammation
- Supports mental focus & cognitive function
- Supports positive mood & emotional well-being
- Promotes brain, eye, & nervous system health

I was beyond ecstatic to have my kids try out the Nutra Sea for Kids ….

 in the past I have had to fight to give them a fish oil supplement….I would buy an expensive brand of Kids Lemon flavored fish oil and have to bribe my kids to take it!!!

Even then I had to mix their dose with agave nectar just so they wouldn’t gag!!!

BUT, I knew that they needed a good source of Omega 3′s, DHA, and EPA….

and now I have found the answer!!!

On the day I received the package from Ascenta Health I told my kids about their new supplement and that it would replace their fish oil…I wanted them to try it right away…I tasted it first so they could see my reaction…I will admit I was a little scared as I hated the lemon flavored fish oil supplement too….but, I was very surprised when it tasted good!!!   I gave each child a spoonful and my kids didn’t gag!!  LOL  They both said it was good!!  It is berry flavored and my daughter said that it left a taste in her mouth like she chewed bubble gum!!!

SCORE!!!!

Next I sampled NutraVege which comes in citrus flavor and it tasted light and left a hint of citrus in my mouth.

ANOTHER SCORE!!!

So, I wanted to really give these products a good testing before I wrote a review about them…..I wanted my whole family to take these supplements for a month or so.

The results:

*My kids never grumbled or complained about taking this supplement

*My kids never once gagged or made a face taking this supplement

This makes mom happy!!!

Happy moms make happy kids!!!!
